National Interest Site Porto Marghera

Within the project for further work for macroisole confinement, were made on behalf of Consorzio Venezia Nuova, the following activities:
(1) geognostic surveys;
(2) installation of piezometers;
(3) chemical and physical analysis of soils and waters;
(4) video inspection and monitoring of groundwater wells.

CORILA Monitoring

In 2011 the collaboration between SELC and CORILA will be continued for monitoring the terrestrial vegetation, the seagrasses, the "Tegnue and the terrestrial insects in the Venice lagoon

MISE

It was recently performed an environmental characterization, implementation fo safety measures (MISE) and environmental remediation of an industrial site in Marghera (Ve). Were made geognostic surveys, laying of wells, chemical and physical analysis of soils and waters and was carried out the analysis of site-specific risk.

MITO2000 in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region

SELC has been awarded the task to carry out field surveys in 2010-2012 on 320 stations and to carry out the analysis of environmental and ornithological data, on behalf of Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia. In addition to the calculation of the Farmland Bird Index and of summary statistics, will be produced regional abundance maps, based on predictive models.
