SELC provides services and carries out environmental, biological and geological research, such as monitoring and study of terrestrial, lagoon, fluvial and marine environments and morphological, environmental and ecological engineering restorations.
SELC carries out hydrogeological, sedimentological, geochemical and structural-geological prospecting, as well as vegetational, faunal, landscape and environmental surveys and mapping. It also processes environmental data with the GIS system.
It provides technical support for the environmental restoration, use and management of wetlands, as well as lagoonal, lacustrine, fluvial and coastal areas. Although most of SELC’s activities are generally referred to the northern Adriatic coastal area; it also worked at national and international levels ( France , Spain , Nigeria , and Africa ).
The company was founded in 1998 with the aim of joining the professional skills of its partners (biologists, geologists and architects) who had been working in the environmental field for over a decade. SELC’s staff is currently composed of 30 people, most of whom are graduates.
